2018: The Year to Restart Your Health

If you are like most Americans, you have grand ambitions and ideas about how "next year I will be better at  ____ fill in the blank."  You make New Year's resolutions, start out strong, but as the year zooms by, somehow the resolutions disappear and at some point during the year, you realize you are back to where you started.  

 

Why does this happen?

There are lots of reasons - we get lazy, we lose motivation, but what seems to be the huge underlying factor is that we don't make these "resolutions" habits.  They simply do not become a part of our daily routine.  We don't incorporate it into our lifestyle.  We are indeed creatures of habit (some of us more than others - wink wink, you know who you are) and unless our "resolution" becomes a genuine addition to our day to day life, it's a foregone conclusion.

 

For example, let's say these are your 3 goals for 2018.
